New Zealand. North Island / South Island new names: Te Ika-a-Maui / Te Waipounamu

After 170 years of unimaginative (but still well loved) names of North and South Islands, we have now been given alternative (but not replacement) names
North IslandTe Ika-a-Maui
South IslandTe Waipounamu
We can use either, but my guess is that the Maori names will become increasingly commonly used. But there is no pressure what to use.
