Orbis terrarum typus de integro multis in locis emendatus (or A map of the world, renewed, improved in some places) is a world map which has amazed me for several hours (or perhaps days - I lost track of time). It is made in 1652 by Dutch carthographers and engravers Claes Jansz. Visscher and Pieter Goos. It includes illustrations of costumes of several peoples, seasons and the elements, and two celestial hemispheres.
