Previous used flags in Europe

bezzleford:
I just made this map but I'm sure I've made some mistakes and appreciate anyone's help. It shows the most recent flag of each country in Europe (and the countries bordering it) which isn't their current flag (e.g. Portugal's 1910 flag when it was the Kingdom of Portugal). I'll try to explain my reasoning behind some of them below:
France: Yes, that really is a white flag. The white flag replaced the Tricolore during the Bourbon revolution
Serbia, Algeria, Tunisia, Poland (and others): I chose these flags because they were (fairly) majorly modified recently (whether that was thickening the crescent in Tunisia or changing the tone of red in Poland etc.)
If a country has used its flag in all its existence (Ireland, Israel, Austria, Belgium) I used the flag of the nation which previously controlled it - with the exception of the former socialist states in the eastern bloc (Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and USSR) where each Socialist Republic had their own official flag I used these if there were no more recent flags
If anyone disagrees with these I'd be happy to discuss them
