What does Y DNA mean: Y DNA stands for the Y chromosome, a.k.a the chromosome that all men have, it’s passed down unchanged from father to son and is responsible for turning the human a male at birth (XY), women do not have this chromosome as they have two X chromosomes instead (XX) What does a high/low Y DNA similarity mean: It shows migrations and invasions between extended periods of time where the different ethnics had children together, and thus root in similar ancestors from the same tribe, the higher the similarity, the more ancestors and origin shared between the two countries, in the case of Spain this shows the Celtic and Roman influence.
