What if Brandenburg-Prussia colonized Australia?

· Aldi is a German discount supermarket and is split into Aldi Nord (North) and Aldi Süd (South) in Germany, with the border being known as the Aldi equator. I wanted to replicate this in Australia.

· Adenauer visiting Australia in 1954 is meant to mirror the Queen visiting for the first time.

· Adolf Eichmann actually escaped to Argentina, but I guess he might want to escape to a German Australia in this timeline.

· Harald Holz/Harold Holt was an actual prime minister who disappeared whilst swimming.

· Tatort is a popular crime show in Germany, where each city will have a team of detectives solving local crimes and the location changes each episode

· Friedrichshaven (Sydney IRL), the capital is named after Elector Friedrich Wilhelm von Brandenburg (not Frederick the Great)

· Potsdam (Wollongong IRL), the state capital of Neubrandenburg, is named after Potsdam the capital of the original Brandenburg in Germany.

· Frankfurt an der Küste (Newcastle IRL) is based off Frankfurt an der Oder, also in German Brandenburg

· Sanssouci (Melbourne IRL) is named after the summer palace of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia

· Dorotheenstadt (Adelaide IRL) is named after Sophia Dorothea of Hanover, wife of Friedrich Wilhelm

· Stettin (Perth IRL) is named after a city in Pomerania (Stettin/Szczecin),like how Perth is named after Perth in Scotland.

· Humboldt (Darwin IRL) is named after the scientist Alexander von Humboldt, who in this timeline, visits Australia, like Charles Darwin.

· Lechhardtwüste (Leichhardt Desert) is named after Ludwig Leichhardt, a German explorer who crossed northern and central Australia
