Population increase in the Middle East, 2025 to 2050

nazar.data:

The Middle East is set for a massive population boom between 2025 and 2050 โ€” with some countries growing by tens of millions.

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ Egypt will see the biggest surge: +43.2 million people, making its already dense population even larger.
๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ Iraq follows with +24.9 million, while ๐Ÿ‡พ๐Ÿ‡ช Yemen is projected to grow by +29.2 million despite ongoing instability.
๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Saudi Arabia adds +13.1 million, and ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท Iran +9.4 million.

Meanwhile, smaller Gulf states like ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ญ Bahrain (+137k) and ๐Ÿ‡ถ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Qatar (+500k) will also grow, though on a much smaller scale.

โš ๏ธ These numbers highlight both opportunity and challenge: more people means a larger workforce and market, but also rising pressure on water, food, housing, and jobs in one of the worldโ€™s driest regions.
