Christianity’s center of gravity is not where you expect it to be. Africa hosts the largest Christian population in the world, driven by rapid demographic growth and strong religious affiliation across sub-Saharan countries.

Latin America and Europe still count hundreds of millions of Christians, but their growth has slowed or declined because of secularization and aging populations. Asia’s Christian population is steadily expanding, especially in parts of East and Southeast Asia. North America remains influential culturally, while Oceania accounts for only a small share globally.
