Tourism has bounced back hard after the huge drop caused by Covid.

Europe is still the global tourism giant with over 747 million arrivals from the rest of the world, showing a growth of 11.5% compared to 2023, and keeping its spot as the most visited region on Earth.

Asia follows with 320 million, boosted by reopened borders and renewed interest in destinations like China, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

The Americas pulled in 213 million visitors, with an increase of 6.7% compared to 2023, while Africa reached 75 million, with North Africa driving most of the numbers while the rest struggles because of instability and violence in the region. Oceania remains the smallest region at around 10 million, mostly centered on Australia and New Zealand.
