India, China, and Algeria are the top importers of Russian weapons from 2020 to 2023, with India leading at 3.8 billion in Trade-Indicator Value (TIV). Despite this, Russia’s arms exports fell by 53% between 2014–18 and 2019–23, now making up 11% of global arms exports. Sanctions and geopolitical shifts due to the war in Ukraine have impacted its defense industry, yet Russia remains a key supplier to nations across Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
