Disentangling the components of agricultural production at the municipal level

Agricultural economic statistics like the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) are frequently produced at administrative level such as the region or department. However, these measures may lack sufficient local variation for effective analysis of local economic development patterns and exposure to natural hazards. With a new dataset from Ru et al. (2023), using satellite-derived indicators of the components that make up agricultural production, these maps shows the estimated data for the agricultural GDP at the municipal level for France.
